Vessel Um Al Emarat: Extending the UAE Humanitarian Bridge to Gaza During Ramadan.

The launch of the Vessel Um Al Emarat marks a new phase of Operation Gallant Knight 3, extending the humanitarian bridge led by the United Arab Emirates to support civilians in Gaza during Ramadan. The vessel carries thousands of tonnes of food, medicine, and essential supplies. This effort builds on a response that has already exceeded USD 3 billion and more than 122,000 tonnes of delivered aid, representing approximately 46% of recent humanitarian assistance reaching the sector.

Leadership Rooted in Compassion
Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak continues to play a central role in advancing humanitarian initiatives regionally and internationally. Her leadership reinforces a consistent approach grounded in dignity and responsibility. Operation Gallant Knight 3 reflects this commitment by ensuring sustained support rather than temporary intervention.

Integrated Medical and Infrastructure Response
The UAE has established a 200-bed field hospital that has treated more than 54,000 cases, alongside a floating hospital that has received over 23,000 patients. An additional 100 beds strengthen healthcare capacity. The UAE water pipeline project produces 2 million gallons daily, serving hundreds of thousands of people. This integrated infrastructure ensures that relief efforts move beyond delivery to long-term impact.

Ramadan amplifies the humanitarian message behind the Vessel Um Al Emarat. During the month of mercy, food parcels, medical assistance, and clothing reach the most vulnerable families. The initiative reflects a unifying commitment to place civilian needs at the forefront. Through sustained logistics, medical support, and infrastructure investment, the UAE continues to uphold its leading role in international humanitarian work.
