UAE’s New Campaign: Building the Global Capital of Entrepreneurship.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has set a bold new vision: to position the UAE as the world’s capital of entrepreneurship. This isn’t just another slogan—it’s a roadmap that combines government backing, private investment, and global ambition.

By 2031, the UAE plans to host more than two million startups and SMEs. Along the way, the campaign will train 10,000 entrepreneurs and create 30,000 jobs, directly feeding talent and innovation into the economy. Over 50 institutions—from government bodies to universities to investors—are joining forces to make this vision a reality.

What makes the UAE different is how it blends policy with opportunity. Entrepreneurs enjoy benefits like 100% foreign ownership in key sectors, free zones with minimal taxes, and easy access to accelerators and funding. On top of that, the UAE’s geography places it at the heart of global trade, bridging Western markets with Asia and Africa.

The campaign focuses on industries shaping tomorrow: fintech, tourism, food security, the space economy, and digital technology. By investing in these areas, the UAE isn’t just supporting entrepreneurs—it’s aligning business innovation with its long-term goal of a diversified, future-ready economy.
