Strengthening the Strategic Partnership between the UAE and China

A key meeting for bilateral development

On September 12, 2024, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), met with Chinese Premier Li Qiang in Dubai. Li Qiang also addressed the UAE-China Business Forum, urging enterprises from both countries to seize new cooperation opportunities. He proposed strengthening collaboration in areas such as the Belt and Road Initiative, complementary development strategies, technology, and innovation. This initiative aims to enhance connectivity and economic cooperation, leveraging the UAE's strategic location and advanced infrastructure.
