The Arab nation climbs to the 7th spot in the 2024 Global Competitiveness Report

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has achieved a significant advancement in the 2024 Global Competitiveness Report, climbing three places to reach the 7th position globally. This prominent ranking reflects the country's strong economic growth and competitiveness.

The 2024 Global Competitiveness Report, published by the International Institute for Management Development (IMD), evaluates the competitiveness of 67 global economies. The UAE has made remarkable improvements across all aspects, highlighting its economic growth, government efficiency, and ability to attract businesses and talent.

Specifically, the UAE has advanced in the economic ranking, reaching the 2nd place globally. Additionally, it has improved in government efficiency, achieving the 4th position globally. In terms of business efficiency, the UAE has reached the 10th place globally.

Furthermore, the UAE has excelled in several key indicators, including the resolution of industrial disputes, employment growth, and consumption of goods and services. It has also enhanced the quality of its energy infrastructure, reaching the 5th place globally.
