The United Arab Emirates has once again demonstrated its steadfast commitment to the Palestinian people, welcoming the 16th group of wounded children and cancer patients from Gaza for urgent medical treatment. This noble initiative, spearheaded by UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, underscores the UAE’s role as a regional leader in humanitarian aid and solidarity.According to the reports, the latest group of 25 patients, accompanied by 51 family members, arrived in the UAE from Egypt’s Al Arish International Airport. They were immediately transferred to hospitals for critical care upon landing at Zayed International Airport.

This humanitarian effort is part of the UAE President’s directives to provide medical treatment for 1,000 injured children and 1,000 cancer patients from the Gaza Strip at UAE hospitals. Since the outbreak of the crisis in Gaza, the UAE has been a steadfast supporter, rushing to provide all forms of humanitarian, relief and aid supplies as part of the “Chivalrous Knight 3” operation.

To further support the people of Gaza, the UAE has established a 150-bed field hospital in Gaza and a Floating Hospital in Al Arish port, equipped with advanced medical facilities, including operating rooms, intensive care units, radiology, laboratories, pharmacies, and medical warehouses.
